Lightweight Aluminium Shell, Low-Profile Design

The Highland 1300 uses a strong, low-profile aluminium shell that packs down to a slim 180mm for transit, keeping your roofline clean and minimising wind resistance on the highway. Despite the compact packed profile, the shell is engineered to handle the vibration and impact of regular off-road travel without adding unnecessary weight to your vehicle.

Side-Opening Design for More Interior Space

Rather than using a conventional clamshell opening, the Highland 1300 uses a side-opening design that delivers noticeably more usable interior space than a traditional clamshell tent of the same packed size. Extendable internal hoops further increase interior volume once the tent is deployed, giving you room to sit up, move around, and store gear without feeling cramped.

180gsm Ripstop Polycotton Canvas With Oversized Fly

The tent body is constructed from 180gsm ripstop polycotton canvas, which breathes better than polyester alone and helps reduce condensation inside the sleeping space overnight. An oversized 135gsm polyester oxford fly adds a second layer of weather protection over the body. Fine mesh windows throughout provide airflow and insect protection at the same time, so you can keep the tent ventilated without letting bugs in.

Underneath, an anti-condensation mat prevents moisture from building up between the mattress and the baseboard, keeping the sleeping surface dry in cold or humid conditions.

Built-In LED Lighting

Integrated LED lighting is fitted inside the tent, giving you plenty of light to get organised, read, or move around comfortably once the sun goes down. There's no separate lantern to pack or hang, and the lighting is ready to use the moment the tent is open.

Air Vents, Storage Pockets, and Shoe Bags

Air vents are built into the shell to help reduce condensation buildup while the tent is closed during transit.
