Cold-Weather Camping Sleeping Bag
Built for outdoor adventures in colder conditions, the DARCHE Cold Mountain Canvas -5 Sleeping Bag features 300gsm dual-layer polyester filling to help retain warmth throughout the night. Its modular construction uses a fixed upper insulation layer and a floating lower layer to help minimise cold spots and distribute warmth more evenly. Because waking up cold shouldn't be the most memorable part of your trip.
Available in Three Sleeping Bag Sizes
The DARCHE Cold Mountain Canvas -5 Sleeping Bag is available in three widths to suit different sleeping setups: 900, 1100 and 1400. Whether you're after a more compact fit or extra room to stretch out, there's an option to suit your camping needs. Choose the right size for your compatible DARCHE swag or roof top tent and enjoy a comfortable night's sleep on your next outdoor adventure.
As a guide for sizing, imagine 900 is similar to a single bed, 1100 is similar to a king single bed, and 1400 is similar to a double bed.
Durable Canvas Outer and Soft Cotton Flannel Lining
The tough 8oz, 225gsm polycotton canvas outer shell is designed to handle the demands of regular camping and touring. Inside, the 125gsm 100% cotton flannel lining provides a soft, comfortable feel against your skin, making it easier to settle in after a long day outdoors.
Spacious Box-Shaped Design in Three Sizes
Enjoy extra room to move with the generous box-shaped design, available in 900, 1100 and 1400 sizes. Whether you prefer a more compact sleeping setup or want plenty of room to stretch out, there's an option to suit your needs. The range is designed to fit compatible DARCHE touring swags and roof top tents.
Dual Zips and Convertible Doona Design
The dual-zip system allows easy entry and exit from either side of the sleeping bag, with the added option of joining two compatible sleeping bags together for a larger sleeping space. Unzip the bag to use it as a large doona, while the additional toe zip provides ventilation on warmer nights. It's versatile comfort for changing conditions around camp.
Heat-Trapping Collar and Shaped Hood
Help keep warmth where it belongs with the drawcord chest baffle and shaped hood with an adjustable drawcord. An internal pocket provides convenient storage for small essentials, while the thoughtful design helps make cold nights more comfortable.
Easy Packing and Convenient Storage
When it's time to pack up, the Cold Mountain Canvas -5 rolls away for convenient transport and storage. The large zippered canvas carry bag helps keep your sleeping gear organised between trips, making it a practical addition to your touring setup.

Bought this for the Nebula 1550 Swag and the Supreme Snoozer Mattress, this was the cherry on top to VIC High Country sleeping combo...
Super comfy, very warm and packs up and straps down without having to drop an elbow into the roll up. Two straps built into the sleeping bag are a great touch.
Would 100% recommend
I never leave home for a camping trip without my Darche Cold Mountain Canvas -5 Sleeping Bag. Even on warmer nights, it always comes along just in case the weather turns—and more than once, it’s proven to be the right call.
On one trip it dropped to around 2°C overnight, and honestly, if I hadn’t known the temperature beforehand, I wouldn’t have guessed how cold it was outside. Inside my swag, wrapped up in the Cold Mountain, I was warm, comfortable, and completely protected from the cold. The only thing that kept me awake was the sound of the rain—not the temperature.
This sleeping bag is built for serious weather and delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality sleeping bag that can handle cold conditions with ease, I couldn’t recommend the Darche Cold Mountain enough.
COLD MOUNTAIN CANVAS -5
I have always been keen on getting a large sleeping bag being a big fella, but was hesitant about cold spots if I didn't get a real fancy & expensive one. I had my eye on the Darche Cold Mountain Canvas 1400 for a while and finally just pulled the trigger & brought it. So, I unrolled it, very excited & decided to try it out throwing it on my bed. Well, I reckon its been over a month and I'm still in it! 🤣 Absolutely love it! Worth every cent, warm & cosy & massive! Looking forward to testing it in the bush very soon, but pretty damn confident it'll perform to my expectations. Great product! Thanks Darche!
Great product and fast shipping
